Clutch bleed valve T9/Duratec

This is the bleed valve that only the top few mm's of appears out of the bellhousing, so every time I want to bleed the system I have to back it off with a socket and make a mess before I get my bleed hose on it. Before making the current one longer to give it enough to get a spanner on it, where would I find a new/backup one in case disaster strikes?

you need to bleed it that often?

I put a hose on the nipple, over the cone and cable tied it in place so it didnt slip off, then you can put the hose dependant on length where ever you want. Just needs a method of blocking the end off to stop fluid coming out once you have bled the cylinder, i used a very small pneumatic derived 1/4 turn valve.

It can be mounted to somewhere high, although not essential, but next to the pedal box is a good area. The tube can still turn around the cone when undone to bleed.

Log out of Google then look at "explore public pics" in Picasa; search for "Caterham build 2007"- my build pics ( Neil Williams ) show how you can use a socket held with a cut down spanner and bleed tubing through the middle- simple and not messy.
I've no doubt a longer or remote bleed is a more elegant solution though...

One more question. Has anyone drilled/tapped a drain hole in the bottom of the Titan Motorsports bellhousing?
