I'm getting an occasional flash from the right hand warning light, orange, on my Stack. I can't find an explanation on the Stack site. Temps & pressure all OK. Engine is a 2.3 Duratec. I also have a slight mid-range miss-fire. The occasional light flash and the miss-fire are not simultaneous. Any suggestions?
Right LED is Red. Should be accompanied by a message on the dash.
Won't illuminate below the "gate RPM" so you will not see error messages below whatever the gate value is (normally 2000rpm).
Typical causes not to be alarmed about are low hot idle oil pressure, low voltage from battery, over temp coolant.
Of course the first and last of these can also be fatal for your engine if severe or prolonged.

It has flashed on and then immediately off about six times in the last 20 miles. Each time it's on and off within a second. It may well be red but it happens so quickly I thought it was orange! The first couple of times I was not even sure if it was the warning light or just a sunlight reflection. I have not seen any error message. Oil and water are fine. It must be related to the occasional mid-range miss-fire which needs to be resolved.
It's not connected to your ignition system beyond the tacho signal, unless you have data logging. I've used Stack 8130/8131 for years and have never seen an ignition induced problem.
There is some latency on the error message displaying, perhaps the signal causing the lamp is so brief the message never shows.
Other inputs your car may have are:
Fuel pressure
Oil pressure
Oil Temp
Is it a Caterham OEM unit (i.e does it have Caterham written on the gauge face?)
