There might be nothing wrong with it, it does look like a pretty little car. But it is on carbs (not injected) so most likely a vauxhall or Ford x-flow (shame the advert doesn't say, it has the under dash handbrake which means it could well be a live axle (but again the advert doesn't say). If it is a Vx with a live axle then it's a bit pricey IMHO, they tend to be in the region of £7.5k to £9.5k It's also possible that it is an ex-scholarship race car, but again not enough info to tell. It needs someone local to go take a look and see what it really is.

It just looks badly advertised to me. The seller needs to give a bit more information and be clear about what exactly the car is.
