Evening

Been lurking for a while considering my options since Feb and settled on getting into a Caterham. After getting my head round the seemingly endless combinations I am liking the look of the R300. Hoping the power / weight balance will be right up my street and that they stand a chance of holding some half decent residuals (for the first time in my life!)

Went to look at this one the other day which seems in great condition. Been up for a sale for a long time though which is a worry with 11 owners. Any thoughts on pricing / history on this car appreciated. Was sold on collecting cars a couple of years ago to the dealer who currently has it and has used it personally on and off from what I understand.

Thanks

Or for similar money there is this monster. Tad wary about this as so heavily modified and I am in no way mechanically minded. Fear it could be a money pit

Fast road use for the three weekends a year the weather plays ball!

VHPD is a fabulous engine , but is effectively a quasi race engine and should be treated serviced accordingly ….

Thanks for the heads up. What sort of service intervals would I be looking at?

Need to come up and see you but it’s such a trek it’s difficult to sort a free day. 👍

I’m not Turn 7 Caterham , I had this handle long before they arrived in Caterham land biggrin

Intervals on VHPD , I would say speak to whoever last built it .

Dave Andrews is the go to for K work….
