I can't find the group from within Facebook, and a Google search brings up only broken links.

Probably due to idiots and trolls, which is inevitable with any Facebook group sadly. Shame as it was (is?) one of the very best communities, and I wouldn't consider owning a VX220 unless I could access it.

Got it thank you, and safely in. Immediately reminded me of how good communities used to be, before corporates took over social media. I can totally appreciate why it makes sense for the group be invite-only these days.

Hi, S/C VX owner here. Wondering if anyone might be able to help me pointing me in the direction of the aforementioned FB group or inviting me?

Being reasonably new to the car, the archives on vx220.org are a great resource - but it would be great to find a similar active group. Have joined a few of the public VX220 groups on FB but doesn't seem to be much activity other than the odd car/part for sale.

Forum is almost dead, and was partially lost, so a few recent years missing. But still info there to search

Thanks. First link doesn’t show for me, don’t know if that’s a private group or a broken link. Am already a member of the 2nd & 3rd groups.

It sounded from earlier posts here like there may be a vx220.org related group somewhere but need an invite to see it or access it

Weird, yes I see that if I try to go to the page of not logged in.

Not sure how they then expect people to find the page ?

In a way understandable, some Facebook groups getting spoilt by scammer spam.

If there’s anyone who can help me join the group or point me in direction of an individual who can assist, it would be appreciated. Can give my old vx220.org username, seloc username etc to show I am legit!

I think it might still be possible to invite friends to the page, what's your name on FB ? There is still a box to click to invite.

The forum used to be awesome, it’s such a shame that’s it’s pretty much dead now. I sold my VX220 in 2011 but used to drop into the forum every now and then for a quick read.

Yep. Dot org is dead. The tt who owns the domain refuses to engage in discussion to sell it and won’t invest in it. 20 years of my life in there!
