2019/20 Bullitt
Discussion
Looking to hear from 2019/20 Bullitt owners please to hear what you make of your cars.
Looking to upgrade my 2008 M3 (V8) which I’ve had for 11 years - because I can’t find anything interesting.
We have X4 M40i as family car and the wife’s 2007 Mustang GT convertible (LHD) for summer. Mine is occasional car but does need to be used for work meetings plus occasional nursery/school/gym pickups with 1-2 kids (ages 4 and 9).
The Bullitt seems the sweetspot to me…

Hi stub.
I've had my 2019 Bullitt since August last year, and I love it. I can't offer you a comparison to other models as this is the only Mustang I've ever driven.
I did end up spending quite a bit more than my original budget, but it only had 2300 miles on it, and had been in dry storage for the previous two years. I've added about 1000 miles to it since buying.
Highland Green is a great colour; obviously a Mustang is never going to be subtle but I think this colour keeps it a bit more low key.
On a steady motorway run I've managed to eek out 30 MPG, but no one buying a Mustang is going to be that concerned about economy
Insurance was £261 with AXA.
If you have any specific questions please ask.
David.

I currently own a 2023 Mach1, had quite a bit of upgrades . Previously owned Bullitt. Bullitt was a better road car, softer in ride and lovely manual gear box . Also had Recaro’s. Plus very stealth in a non stealth way. I wouldn’t change back but I do miss that car . Looking to upgrade my 2008 M3 (V8) which I ve had for 11 years - because I can t find anything interesting.

Also owned a E92 M3 completion with a lot of upgrades !!!
I would very much recommend you consider a Bullitt, but place a X pipe on it (low cost), then at least sounds as it should and does in US.
Enjoy
Bought mine in November and to be honest, it has exceeded my expectations.
IMHO other Mustangs just seem to try too hard to look aggressive with spoilers, stripes, bulging wheel arches etc. etc. With the Bullitt they got it just right for me.
The magride suspension makes it great for UK roads, even pot holed ones. It has as much power as 2026 models too so I really can't find a reason to want to change it for a Mach1 or a Dark Horse. Might be tempted by a supercharged one though, if ever shipped in RHD to the UK, at the right price
