Mustang s550 5.0 Differential

Hi all.

Just looking for some advice or guidance.

Had my Mustang from new, never been thrashed or tracked etc, but had the dreaded groaning and shudder from one wheel when moving off, when pulling out or reversing into a space.

Gut feeling me its the Limited Slip Diff? Thee AA diagnosed that too.

Anyone experienced this? I've went to ford Customer Relations, but not expecting miracles though.

Any ideas about cost of a rebuild or replacement Diff?

It’ll be worth visiting one of the specialists for a proper diagnosis.. could be the diff or might just be a worn half shaft or something else entirely?!

Nearest city is Newcastle.

I hope you're right, id be over the moon of it was something like a shaft etc.

Not paying £5k for an oem diff.

Been looking at Ford Racing Differential Torsen 34-Spline 8.8", couple of Races and Spacers for about £1k. Just finding the magician to fit it 😀
