Daytime Running Lights

Does anyone else have daytime running lights when they let their handbrake off? Mine does, but I don't remember it on the hire car in the states last year.

Do your cars have KMH speedometers? If so they are Canadian spec & day running lights are mandatory in that market.

yeah, thats what i thought. it was originally canadian.

ditto my stang is canadian also and has the day time driving lights

I'd find a way of disabling them. Who wants to be lumped in with the Volvo and Saab drivers

i was wondering whether its just a software setting somewhere. was going to ask the dealer where it came from as I need to talk to them about the state of the disk brakes.
