Medal of Honor - Warfighter

Avoid. All the reviews thus far have panned it, major technical faults in the game, even after a day-one patch to correct some glaring faults in the gameplay. It also brings nothing new to the table and is about as generic a shooter as you can imagine. I might pick it up when it's a fiver, but have lost the small amount of interest I had in it previously.
It's telling that EA didn't provide any of the games sites with copies for them to review it, they had to source their own.

I had this on pre-order so I did buy it.
Having only played the campaign thus far - the MP wouldn;t load on day 1!!!!! - the game play is ok, nothing new although the charachterisations are better and the vehicle elements are better than before although still quite linear.
the breach and clear element is lifted straight from early rainbow six 3 - without the voice over component.
I'll reserve full judgement until I play the mp but despite the production values which feel good and the excellent cut scenes - its a formulaic and not too difficult campaign.
one glitch on campaign is that the peek and lean hit registering is sometimes poor so that you have to lean out further despite unloading into the enemy. Oh and the enemy AI is the usual.
who plays these games for the campaign anymore anyway....?
I'll be playing the BF4 beta though that came with the Ltd. edition.

I got online last night and I have to say the MP is excellent.
a good range of game types and an almost endless range of soldier / weapon combos.
grenades actually kill and whilst the kill streak supports take a bit of time to get used to all in I was impressed.
the attack / defend the flags game is really good and the fireteam co-op seems to work well.
buy it for the multiplayer but equally I feel as though blops II will make this title redundant in no time

Really fancy this as a BF3 alternative.
Watched a few YouTube vids of people rating the MP quite highly in terms of gun play, no suppression and good ADS spread and recoil bonus's, with good overall balance between the weapons.
Not sure about the kill streaks, but i suppose its a nice change from BF.
After seeing some reviews Ive been put off, but with all the controversy surrounding some of the research behind this game, im very intrigued.
I think in terms of single player, FPS' have been played out, im not expecting anything amazing, and i just take it as it is. What im interested in is the online play, and most reviews dont take this side into account.
Either way, a relative has been asking if id like it (they know i like shooting people virtually) so i think ill accept the offer and take the punt.
Will let you guys know what i think.

you wont regret it fez, like bf3 it encourages players to stick together as the only way to resupply is to stick near your fireteam partner but the easiest way to describe it is that its a cod version of bf3 but dont worry about the killstreaks as its reasonably hard to get them and apart from the apache they arent stupidly overpowered like cod Watched a few YouTube vids of people rating the MP quite highly in terms of gun play, no suppression and good ADS spread and recoil bonus's, with good overall balance between the weapons.

fuzzy will be a killer on there, its a mix between gun and run and team tactics.
maps are ok, the hit registering is sometimes a bit off and grenades are overpowered still but the nice thing is the balance between special skills and loadouts.
eg the swiftest class only carries flashbangs...
i've been online for about 28 hours and i'm at level 62/72 and i'm crap at online play
