What do people see in COD?

i've never understood the fascination people have with the COD series

i'll pause that and say i loved COD 2 and 4. After that its been the same thing same actions with someone rushing around to save the world.

the game play is repetitive and each episode brings nothing new in terms of storyline or single player mode.

online i'll give it was good when it was cod 4 but then out came the hackers and the 13 year old americans and there's nothing left to appeal now

saying that it continues to bash out each year a new episode. and each year they come on the years best sellers list.

It's pretty mindless fun, and as they never do anything new (since COD4), it's a pretty safe bet that it will still be fun..
