Multi-threaded ganes

Does anyone know which games make use of multi-core CPUs (i.e. does any game make use of 12 cores?)

Not really sure on that, most games are mainly GPU bound. If you're looking to test performance or utilisation then 3DMark has a few tests that will utilise all the cores available.

6 cores is optimal right now, 8 gets a small increase but not comparable to the increase over 4.

I think Flight Simulator 2020 is good for more CPU cores.
