Pretty much my favourite TV show. Hope to god this is good.

The makers of the Pathfinder and Rogue Trader RPGS. Looks very mass effect from what I can see.

That does look good. The Telltales game centred around Drummer is an underrated gem and got the atmosphere of The Expanse just right; hopefully this does as good a job.

Yeah agreed, just a little too short but they're not expensive so well worth a play through a couple of times

I like the expanse and Mass Effect.

However experience, especially recently experience, has taught me not to get excited over games before they've even been released.

A lot can go wrong. Especially as the writers are not involved.

I get that and I'm certainly not excited enough to pre order, Owlcat games do have a good rep though so fingers crossed.

Seems you'll be playing as a twin and will create both siblings, it's set during the first two seasons(or books) running parallel to the events of the show and they have some of the show cast on board. Just on foot (or zero G) exploration, ship flying and combat is just cutscenes, so like mass effect.

My hopes are ever further dashed... Sounds too much like the abomination that was Mass Effect Andromeda.

It's only about an hour of gameplay/exploration (a single mission)...and I don't know how large the full game is intended to be...with limited character builds to choose from.

It's very 'Mass Effect' in it's style/controls...so I'm liking it...and it's more ME3 than MEA in my opinion.

Getting an average of 85fps with everything at the highest settings (using DLAA) running at 3440x1440 on an RTX4090.

• DLSS DLAA = 85fps
• DLSS Quality = 125fps
• DLSS Balanced = 150fps
• DLSS Performance = 135fps (DLSS optimisations inbound I hope)
• DLSS Ultra Performance = 115 fps (DLSS optimisations inbound I hope)

I'll probably still buy it as I'm a tragic Expanse fan... Unless they do something stupid by making it an online only single player game or activation limits. Even my fanboyism has limits.
