My 14 year old lad has recently developed an interest in motorsport and cars through gaming which I m obviously encouraging. Birthday this year meant a steering wheel and pedal set up and the next step according to him seems to be a rig he s a fairly causal gamer using a ps5 and playing f1, assetto corsa and forza horizon

. We ve looked at a couple of set ups. I don t want to soend loads and so far found 2 we like.

I quite like the gt omega folding

this will give us space when he s not using it, however I m concerned that I may not be as sturdy as a fixed seat and won t be comfortable for longer sessions. We did look at the playseat

which looks sturdier

Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent set up?

If just starting out then the Playseat is a good shout along with the Logitech wheel and pedal. Anything else is overkill.

Playseat is good if you just want to figure out if you're going to stick with it, for sure.
