Fallout 5 is in the works as well as Bethesda confirming that there are remasters of Fallout 3 and New Vegas on the Creation engine being worked on.

All 3 probably years away. Hopefully they don't go the MMO route that made Fallout 76 the only FO game I was never tempted to buy.

Oooh Fallout 3 Remaster will be all kinds of awesome. But I will still get lost on that damn ship !!

Fun fact. I played about 30 hours of Fallout 3 before I discovered you could fast travel biggrin

And 5, I am both excited and terrified, if it does not live up to my expectations (see Starfield for details) I will be gutted... But if it does...........

I think I only managed 20 but discovered it completely by accident (randomly clicking about the map.

Loads better than hoofing it between Megaton and Arefu every time.

I didn't know much about these games until the TV show came out so I bought FO3, New Vegas, 4 and 76 as part of an Xmas Steam deal last year where each was only about £3-5.

So far I've only played FO4 out of those but I've got about 550 hours in it to date and I'm fully hooked into the Lore and world building. Everyone seems to believe New Vegas is the best so I'll start 3 first then move over to NV later - I didn't know 76 was a multiplayer game and that interaction (as good/bad as it may be) just doesn't interest me that much.

As such I'm really interested in these remakes plus a new single player FO5!

Unfortunately, all of these are still absolutely years away.

Fallout 5 you won't see until 2033-4....it's in the VERY early pre-production stages. We've got Elder Scrolls to come first, and that's likely a few years away as well, probably 2028, maybe 2029.

I'm a bit...suspect on remasters. Sometimes it works (Black Flag), sometimes things have just moved on (Oblivion)
