Any recommendations? I have a P4 2.5Ghz, Geforce F550 256 card, 768Mb Ram.

I bought Il-2 1946 (great!), and i'm thinking of Battle of Britain 2 and Lock On. Are these any good? Any decent WW1 games? Thanks.

Depends what your looking for ? LOMAC is a good and very technical sim if you want it to be. FSX is also pretty decent if you dont just want to shoot at stuff.....

I too have IL2 1946, and I can tell you that any other sim will not hold your attention the way that IL2 does. I have tried Combat Flight Simulator 3 (not a patch on IL2 in every way), LOMAC, which is OK, but still a tad buggy and way too fast (and sparse)compared to the piston engined planes of IL2.

Both of the latter are no longer using HD space, but IL2 has something about it that makes me always come back to it.

I can't wait for Oleg Maddox's Battle of Britain, have been waiting for what seems an eternity for it!

I saw the new BOB, but i'm doubting my old rig will run it.

I was going to put that about your rig and BoB, but deleted that before I posted, as I'm sure it will still play with medium settings, and I'm sure it'll look just as lush.

To be honest, with my PC, which now has an Intel Extreme quad core, 2GB of memory and a 8800 GTX GPU, I can only now have everything on Perfect with absolutly no stuttering when speeding up time for the IL2 game, and that's got to be three or four years old now!
