Any Xbox gamers on here, has anyone played the new game, saw some recent adverts and it looks amazing, supposed to be 10 times better than GT4

Saw the ad on the TV and thought the same too. Only I don't have an Xbox 360.

Then again I only bought my PS2 to play GT4 on.

Ive got a load of mates coming over tonight to play it on my 50" Pioneer screen with 6' high loudspeakers . . . fro everything I've heard and read it will be stunning!

If I was to buy an XBox 360 could I use my Logitech Driving Force Pro with it? I'm loath to buy a new FF wheel.

I have to say I have never used a wheel!

I hate playing the games in arcades with driving wheels, are they really any good??

Well they are much better than a joy pad. You get real feedback and the DFP has 900 degrees of rotation so is much more like a real car.

onyl reason i ask is that an old wheel i had for my ps2 just felt so unreal no fighting the wheel and that which you want, its just a simple turn.

have the new wheels moved on?

The Microsoft ForceFeedback wheel for the XBox has less than 900degrees of rotation (a good thing imo) and has both Rumble and variable degrees of resistance.

It proper kicks when you clip a kerb.

Closest thing you can get to real driving imo. Just needs a rumble seat and something to induce Gforces.

And pedals that aren't like kicking a bowl of jelly.

The driving force pro has. It has full force feedback and is nice to hold, has an integrated shifter and weighty pedals. Logitech also do a more expensive one called the G25 which is even better and arguably the daddy of mainstream wheels.

I want to be able to use mine on the XBox if possible as it's all the wheel I'll ever need so I begrudge having to buy an XBox specific one. I can use it on my PC and PS2 so why not Xbox?

Why is having less rotation a good thing? The "lock stops" are fully adjustable anyway.

About £150. It definitely works on the PC and I think it works on the PS2 but I don't think there are any games setup to utilise the gate shift on the PS2.
