Forza2 - How Are You Getting on in Career Mode

Just wondering how everyone's getting on with the game in career mode (i.e. not the Ph online racing madness)...

I managed to hit Level 44 on main career mode on Monday evening over here (career mode itself is showing 81% complete), have the arcade mode 100% complete and time trials are all complete bar the HKS Time Attack Evo one which for some reason I can get to within 0.003 of the target time and no quicker - and I've done maybe 15 laps in and around that figure altering my lines slightly etc with no joy...I need to spend a night mastering the car on manual gearbox mode as I reckon that's going to be my easiest way to finish the time trials...

I've something like 160 or so cars in my garage, totalling a mad amount of cash and have around 3 million Cr in my bank to spend just now too...

I need to plug the 360 into the crappy internet connection tonight to have it update my achievements and gamerscore online...

Think i'm about 50% complete at level 40 with a couple of million in the bank. I havent really had time to concentrate on it as the evenings seem to be filled with online fun


IIRC my damage total is about 300,000 - a majority online no doubt

ive just opened the level 35 cars and 27% through the game

about 1mil in the bank and ALOT of cars

Level 30 as of last night, but mostly been playing online lately, aim to raise that level considerably over the weekend if I can.

I've been nattering to some of the friends back home in Ireland and most of them are in the level 10-25 bracket, you can tell I'm out here living in a strange country with bugger all to do with my time can't you

I think I am about level 26, with about 400K in the bank. It's hard to find time to play single player when everyone is around online.

Well I suck, always happens I get carried away with other parts rather than finishing races, bying all my favorite cars and customising them etc...

I should have paid more attention because now I have NO money and my cars are either too powerful or the wrong class for races i need to do...NOOOOOOOO!!

I'm at about level 22 and about 140k in the bank, not had as much time as I'd like to play it, what with looking after the Lotteryheads syndicate and seeing the girlfriend!

Bear in mind when you mod the cars you still have the stock parts to be able to refit as and when required (unless you were daft enough to sell them too)

You can remove parts without selling them by simply re-installing the stock parts. That way you can refit selected old parts and get your cars PI rating down to the right class.

Level 31 - less than 100K in the bank - similar to everyone else - as soon as I get the money I spunk it on a new purchase. Latest attempt to conquer group A is a Cayman with the 997 Turbo swap and tuned up to 550Bhp+... Hmmm think it could be a winner with the power and 4WD.

Still a little ways to go to unlock the Carerra GT though.
