Hi

After a few weeks online racing and getting annoyed by everyones lag it suddently dawned on me last night it 'twas not everyone else who was mad but it was me!'

So, how do I stop the 'lagging'? I currently have a wireless netgear router, although the 360 is connected via wire, and Virgin broadband at a supposed 4MB.

Help would be apreciated as driving with erratic cars all around you is extreemly hard and ofcourse people think you shunted them off when you saw it as side by side!!

Sometimes reseting your router helps. But if this is a frequent problem it may not be that simple.

My Virgin broadband is fine, though it may be the 8MB...

Is it the same with all games?

I'm with Sky and I get lag all the time. Their service has been really bad recently, every night at about 10 it goes ridiculously slow, probably no faster than dial up.

unfortunatly - the 'meg' in your broadband is a theorectical maximum - the problem with ADSL is contention.

An easy way of resolving lag is to reboot your router - ensure you dont have any other active TCP connections (e.g. web browser) active at the same time as the xbox.

If its still a problem, ask your ISP to remove interlacing (assuming they use it) - or switch supplier.
