Where do you buy your games from?

I tend to buy them from play.com who've (generally) had the best deals. However, recently i've been made aware of a company called shopto.com. They seem pretty good in terms of pricing, but even better, (and unlike play) it's next day delivery!

So who would you all recommend?

Generally I use gameplay if i'm buying something, I have a loyalty discount code for them and they usually get titles out a day before release.

If I'm buying something that has been out a while I'll hunt around for the best price.

Lovefilm. I pay £15 per month and have a games list of 1 disk at a time, and a films list of 2 films at a time. Means its no more than a couple of days between games and they have Wii, PS3, PSP, X360 etc.

my little local game shop. know the owner and get they cheaper then other game shops. also if I don't like the game I can take it back and get another for nothing

Usually go to Gamestation. They have stopped taking DVD's though. Anyone know who gives good trade ins on DVD's?

I tend to buy from Play when they have a game I want at a bargain price. Mainly, I get my games from Game and Gameplay.

I always tend to give E-bay a scan for games, usualy a few nice cheap games and ive not been stung yet (touches wood). Resistance cost me £21 delivered and arrived next day.

Shopto are good i just ordered a wireless controller pgr3 and live arcade for 25 quid. Bargain! I don't use play as i have issues with their customer service. choicesuk are another one i like.

Yeah ebay has proved fruitful for me once or twice, but one time i nearly got caught out when buying resident evil 4 for ps2 when the seller wouldnt accept any conventional paying methods, i had to gamble with some other paypal-esque company and hope i wouldnt lose my money. Always double check payment methods before you bid!!!!


Another way to get cheaper games is from virgin megastores and pay with virgin credit card for instant 10% off every time

I usually just shop around for the cheapest. Its meant I've saved a bit of dosh.
