Forza doesn't work!

Downloaded the patch, now it just stays on the race loading screen and doesn't go any further, still plays the music and cycles the tips but no race!

The menus etc still work fine, just no races.

Any ideas?

You can roll back the patch by clearing your system cache;

This also gets rid of the other updates you have downloaded but you can download them again when you connect to XBL.

As for the Forza update try it again, if freezs again then you will know its something to do with your system, it may work the second time though.

It has now decided to work, after 2 days of trying, I post up on PH and it works. I think it is the drive, it makes funny noises and sometimes struggles to load scenery.

If I take the Xbox back, and keep the HDD will it still work exactly the same?

If you are taking it back to somewhere like Game they will simply swap the HD over.

Everything apart from the stuff you have paid for to download.

I took my Xbox back and kept the HDD and some other bits as it was being tempromental they swapped it for a new system.

I went to my arcade games that I had paid for like pinball FX and blast billiards and these only worked when I was connected to live.

I went throught the XBox forums and it was said that when you download something that you pay for its noted on the system you download it to. So my arcade games and add on pack for PGR3 only work when connected to live.

There was talk of them making a patch but nothing ever came about.

My add on pack for PGR3 only works when connected to live too - I thought that was just how it is! lol

I'm on my 3rd console but I kept the HD the second time; so the HD and console don't 'match'. I had the first two consoles for such a short period of time before they died I have never noticed that the pack was not working normally (did think it was a bit shit that it did'nt work without live!)
