Quite funny as I was watching motorsTV last night and they had the LeMans Highlights on. The Peugeot 908 had in car cameras and plastered all over the dash were Xbox360 and Forza2 stickers. Was going to post here with that info...
The 997 RS is apparently the GT3RS and I am just hoping that the Civic Type-R is the JDM version.
As for there being nothing good? Erm.... "1966 Muira P400" sounds ok
(I sence a very loud one make race series on line

)Sounds to me like another unicorn car situation here. Cars in high demand such as the unicorn cars are known to go for ridiculous amounts of credits that most of us could only dream of affording. If i remember correctly, an Exige Espionage sold for something like 500million credits. If they're going to do the same with DLC cars you'd better hope they're not restricted to limited numbers.

No, these are DLC cars. The only reason people are quoting the auction house now is because after the patch they now appear as searchable in the auction house on forza.net. That does not mean they will be Turn10 cars at all, It just means they have "preped" the system ready for them (within the next couple of weeks apparently in DLC packs with extra tracks). One of the DLC packs is rumoured to by a "Nissan only pack" hence the list contains quite a few Nissans. The Turn10 unicorn cars are actually dropping in price quite rapidly now as 5 of each type are released every 24hrs to the auction house. Give it a month or two and I beleive they will be going for very realsitic money. Afterall, you cant do anything with them but drive once you buy them. They are locked against sale, gift or paint.

Let me guess that they are going to charge us for the cars and tracks. Microsoft are
ing w
rs for that. We've already paid 40
ing pounds for the game, but no, they have to get more money from us.They release the game with around 10 tracks, and then charge people to download new ones.

rs!!! We have paid our money and bought the game they offered us and now they want us to spend more money on additional stuff that they have created at a later date! Hell, they should just carry on working at thier own cost and keep updating the game totally free of charge. I mean, just because they have spent extra money paying their staff to work on the already completed game to add additional content doesnt mean we should have to suffer by buying the extra content. They should be paying their staff in magic beans and whipping them so they do the work for free.. thats what they should do!!! And after that I want them to come round and clean my car... and then make my dinner for me!!!!

erm... you don't actually have to buy the additions?
To be fair, 3 or 4 tracks were cut from the game in the mid-late stages of production, to make sure that no deadlines were missed and Forza 2 came out promptly on time. So, this is were I have a little problem, I don't mind paying for any 'new tracks' that Turn 10 release BUT I certainly don't want to pay a single penny for tracks that were supposed to be in the game originally but were pulled to make someone's life easier (and pockets fuller).

True. But how can you tell?!I would like to see them open up the programming to 3rd party developers (rFactor anyone?). There would be some tosh but the good designers would make a name for themselves and people could then just decide if its worth it.

We've already paid more than the yanks do for the game, so why should we be charged to download the extra stuff when it should have been in the game in the first place.
How do you spot the Turn 10 cars in the auction house BTW?
the turn 10 cars are currently only the lotus exige espionage, mitsubishi evo 6 tommi makinnen edition and a chevy camaro anniversary something or other (can you tell im not intrested in yank tanks?!)
There are 5 of each for sale every day.
use the filters to narrow them down, the thumbnail pics all have a turn10 logo on them

You do kind of answer your own question. The tracks were cut out of the game before the game was actually released. So tecnically as far as the player of the game is concerned they never existed in the first place. Whatever he intention of Turn10 they tracks were not included(although I've yet to see Turn10 officially stating that the tracks should have been in the original release) .We've already paid more than the yanks do for the game, so why should we be charged to download the extra stuff when it should have been in the game in the first place.

Turn10 have finished the game, gone gold, and then shipped it. We bought it as is. Doesnt matter what they would have liked to include, the fact is they didnt, end of and nothing we can do to change that now. Simple fact of the matter is that Turn10 could quite happily walk away and not provide us with anything extra, weve already voted with our wallets and bought the game as they originally released it.
I remember when GTA:Vice City was anounced RockStar promissed that we would be able to go into all the buildings and explore. However, due to time constraints and programming issues it never happened. This sort of thing happens all the time in gaming and we should be thankfull that Turn10 are actually bothering with DLC, they could quite easily move on to Forza3 development instead.
I don't see why you are being so defensive about having to pay for DLC, which is what my gripe is about. We've already paid 40 quid, which is more than enough to leave a nice tidy profit in Bill Gates pocket, so why should we have to pay more?
Why does there have to be an official document for you to believe there was meant to be more tracks in the game, its common knowledge.

Of course they're going to charge you for them. Game developers don't work for free. With the amount of time they have to spend coding new cars and tracks, they're hardly going to give them all away gratis, are they? Wouldn't make much business sense if they did.
