Nintendo DS Lite, which games?

Purchased one of these for my sons sixth birthday today, he currently has Transformers; Decepticons, and Brain Training (the latter is fantastic fun he's mastered very quickly, and loving Sudoku, the former he's still figuring out). Also have on order Sonic Rush.
Any other game suggestions? And does anyone have experience of this downloadale music/games package?

Puzzle Quest:Challenge of the Warlords is very good if you like Bejeweled. Sort of bejeweled with RPG elements - sounds odd but wastes a lot of time

Yet its easy enough to pick up so that my non-technical wife can also play against them. Funniest thing I've seen in a long time at Xmas was Grandad , My Mrs and the two kids racing each other (we borrowed DS's off the cousins down for the day)

This would be ideal as will be purchasing second DS Lite for other son in September.my 7 year old also loves Super Mario Bothers.
I'm assuming only one game is needed for multiplayer action? I've noticed some where it's better all participants have a copy.
What other games fo your kids play?
Anyone have Nintendogs? As this is what the soon to be five year old wants.
My girlfriend has a DS, and we both love Animal Crossing. It could be seen as a bit girly but it's absoloutely outstanding, i love it and i'm not easily swayed by cutesy things. Pro Evo 6 isn't a bad handheld footy game either

Edit to add she has nintendogs too. Played with it a bit when she got it but ultimately it's a bit boring. Probably still worth a purchase if they definately want it though.

Just to help here. With Mario Kart DS, you can play it multiplayer (i.e. two DS's) with only one cartridge but you only get one course. It also takes forever to "download" the course onto the DS without the cartridge. Plus once you have played once, you have to "download" it all over again. It is much better to get two cartridges!
Also would hugely recommend Mario Bros but the Original one. This is great fun! The other Brain Trainings are good but not as good as the first one. I liked the first Tombraider although it was quite hard!

mario karts is fine with one cart and multiple players , doesnt take that long to load and you get plenty of different courses. For full on action with all the courses and karts you need 2 copies, but my kids have never had a problem with just one game and sharing.
My youngest likes spongebob too but it can be quite tricky do you will need to download the game guide.
