New Forza race idea

I was just thinking, with the scooby-ring - maybe we could do a similar race-type for more tracks.
say we choose a specific car/model, one with loads of modification options - restrict it to A or S class to mean we dont all end up with 100% modded car, and have some difference...
I reckon it'd be a lot of fun, and probably more even on the standard tracks.

yeah, I was thinking (for instance) the 350Z's (or something) that have 2 or 3 engine swap options, lots of other choices, limited to A or S class..
I like your series idea, say 3 completley different tracks, so like Maple Valley Long, Laguna Seca and a twisty one...
I think it'll give closer racing than the scooby ring has become simply because of shorter tracks, but will still give the options for trying to nail top times.

well, i think we need to decide on the car - the US muscle cars have the best engine options - but I liked the 350Z as you can choose RWD or 4WD (will add an interesting twist).
I think having lots of engine choices, bodykits etc will make it interesting, but I'd be worried going as far as S class means everyone has the same car - unless you can get to U on the 350Z (I think Mr E did though?)
We can then decide on tracks (or just use all of them
) I'd be happy with Mugello as well though if we were going for records!

This month's fact:- 3. The longest traffic jam caused by a Bongo was by Don Cameron of the Isle of Lewis (Scotland). During a trip to the Bongo Bash in Worcestershire in June 2007, Mr Cameron, who had never driven further than Stornoway, stopped at traffic lights just north of Glasgow to fiddle with his SatNav system. Mr Cameron, who had never used a SatNav system before, sat oblivious through 217 cycles of light changes, thus causing a traffic jam back to Helensburgh (17 miles) and gridlock around the greater Strathclyde area that took police 3 days to clear.
i think it would be best to open to all cars and just stick to a class and must keep the same car on all tracks.
That way some cars will suit some tracks others won't. Some cars may not suit everybodies driving style, and the person organising the race will most probably pick their favourite cars.
If you stick to say A class some yank tanks will fly down the straight and not get round corner and an Exige (For Example) will fall behind and then ctahc up at the corners.

Same car + same class + tuning allowed to suit personal prefs = fair/level racing.
It's basically a 1 make series. Car won't suit 'all' tracks, but we'd all be in the same boat, so fair racing.

I think that is a brilliant idea. If there was some way to force a weight penalty for the BMW 3 Series (for RWD advantage) it would be even better 
Having a one make series (350Z only or whatever) will be fun too as it will be a completely level playing field, as others have said.
But I like the idea of having a few different cars mixed up.
