Getting fed up of the auctions, every auction for a half decent car gets to the last few minutes and everybody seems to bid on it so all my bids keep getting rejected.

Shame really, but to be expected. Especially as there must be quite a high number of people playing Forza2 now.

I watched an auction for a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO TME (unicorn car) go all the way up to 999,999,999 and then keep going. It's crazy!

I find the best thing to do is to search for all cars for 30,000 or less and just take it from there. That way you'll see all the cheap cars ending soon. A pretty sure fire way of grabbing a bargain or two. Obviously if it's a 5,000 Enzo there's a good chance you're going to have a fight on your hands.

Good luck and congrats to whoever bought the hemi under glass car. I was tempted but couldn't justify the cost.

I paid I think 400k on a buy out for Hemi under glass. Expensive for a muscle car but I think it was worth it as the car looks fantastic. If your after a certain car go to the official Forzamotorsport.net forums and hunt around, then contact the artist directly.. most are usually open to realistic offers if you dont have much money (or at least claim you don't wink )

Had my first go at getting a car in the auctions, a gransport at 5k, spent ages last minuite bidding up to about 100k, then just had a quick look to see what price the buy outs were on the other GS's, found they were at 140k when at that very second a GS popped up with a buy out of 30k, I bought that quick and left Mr super bidder to his identical 100k onebiggrin

thats just because you've bid at the same time as someone else - you get an additional 2 minutes if you really want the car..

though it certainly is harder to find bargins on there now..

They really want to run it like an ebay style auction, with a max bid put and a geuine end time. I get so pissed off bidding then being out bid even when it says theres 2 minutes left.

Some mental artwork though there, condisdering they have used that car painter to make it.
