Ello lads.

Can we establish a time to race tonight as I've missed every session so far?

To be honest, it's almost impossible for me to get on before 9pm so (selfishly), if we could do it after that then it would be tops smile

Given the amount of us on Forza these days, maybe it's better to have an early/later sessions for respective lobbys?

I actually think I may have built the wrong car. I've built a 500bhp 350Z GT. And I think I should have built a 350Z with a 4WD skyline powertrain transplant....

Well I built a 600bhp Fairlady - definately the wrong car: completely undriveable!

I've de-tuned the engine (removing the turbo's was a good start wink) and spent my points on more grip. After a bit of time tuning the handling last night I think its competitive judging by lap times - have to see how it fairs in a race.

I do think its a bit silly having a 350Z series full of rebodied Skylines - whats the point? why not just race Skylines?? (I'll wait and see if my car's still too slow before I start whining too much though hehe)

See you guys tonight driving

I know.

I was just expressing my opinion.

No doubt I'll have 4WD by the end of the week

I'll be up fro this is I am on early enough.

It's strictly the old 350z, right, not the 2007 or the old fairlady?

Any 350Z shape car you like as far as I'm aware mate.

Polarbert - sorry mate! Though it might have been something like that, but still went ahead and replied redface

Right - so can we say 9:30?

As i said, if those who can get on earlier want to setup another session then go for it.

Its the Fairlady Z (2003 350Z) or 2007 350Z

And RWD does have its advantages - i dont think were all running skyline drivetrains - besides at least people have that option wink

I came on after the invites but just missed you guys. I was doing a 7 lap career race that I had to finish, and then I had to remove about 400bhp from my 350Z! hehe

I've moved back to two wheel drive, I couldn't get the four wheel drive to stop handling like an oil tanker, my setup was completely undriveable at Laguna Seca.

Great racing last night guys; really enjoyed it thumbup Saved a couple of replays so should get some pics up at some point.

350Z series seems to work very well, the mix of drivetrains does work. Now if only I can become a bit more consistent I might not finish last so often - I always seem to get out the blocks ok then start going backwards mid-way through the second lap paperbag

Sounds like my setup is fairing a bit better - but you're right, the AWD is understeer city!

+1 Baldy, some great racing and pretty clean too smile

Also got some replays (can you encode them somehow for web replay?) including the one at Autumn Valley where I got 'nudged' into you at the start frown Sorry about that, but sod all I could do about it.1

I have got a sequence of pics of it though..... wink

I either crashed or got crashed into on every race last night, but would then go on to set the fastest lap usually by some margin. Just need to get consistent, i'm more than happy with my cars set-up.

Not sure if you can encode the replays - would be cool though. (The replay from the first race at Mugello would be good viewing. There was a bit of a melee and someone stacked into a rejoining Mekon hehe)

No bother about the nudge mate, I don't remember being pissed off about it smile Most of the contact I witnessed (and dealt out paperbag sorry pink & white car, lap one at Laguna!) was fairly light and just a result of close racing; nothing unfair IMO.
