Would a Jap X360 120gb HDD work on an English X360?

As the title says. I was looking at getting one from play-asia.com as they seem like a good price and say that there is no region restriction. Would it work okay?

Although you'd need to get the transfer kit/cable as well.

Mechanically. Yes, it should work with no issues - I dont imagine the connection is anything other than SATA and the internal voltages will be the same post transformer.

The question I would ask is - what core data is stored on the HDD? If this is shipped empty - I cant imagine why it wouldnt work - if it has O/S data on it, then thats when things could get messy.

Its not includeded. Basically with the ones on ebay you get the HDD in a brown box and thats it. Unfortunately I couldn't find the transfer cable on ebay.
