Forza handling

Right I got my difficulty set to:
Manual gears,
No traction control
ASB on
no brake lines or accelarate etc...
AI set to Med

But with cars with more than 300BHP and rear wheel drive I cannot rev the nuts of them on corners,

I like the Audi DTM car but with 475BHP means either I go sideways onevery corner or need to use 4/5th gears every where

what do you guys use apart from spending loads of time on Forza. I have only been playing it for a week

You could try tuning it.

Or simply apply less throttle when exiting the corner and slowly and smoothly apply the throttle.

Also do you use a wheel or controller just I find that it is much easier to be more smooth with the wheel and the fact that you can feel whats happening to the car.

Adjust the suspension so she's softer at the back (more complicated than this to do right, but hey).
Gently on the throttle on the way out.

That being said, I've found that anything I've converted from FWD to RWD, and lightened, is so front heavy that it's virtually undrivable.

Not true you can make some awesome set ups converting fwd to rwd, I have a brilliant set up B class RWD CRX Del Sol.

What would have been good is if you could add ballast to the cars to the lower the PI whilst improvong the handling, for that perfect weight distribution (not 50/50).

I suspect that if you tried this IRL you would be exiting the road backwards and at speed - you need to be gentle with the throttle coming out of the bends. Probably better at first if you learn to do this rather than tuning the car to try to reduce oversteer or anything like that

Fair enough. All of my RWD conversions are at least class A, and I suspect a high revving NA 450bhp engine driving the rear wheels with 65% of the weight up front isn't helping....

My Integra Type R is RWD and 640bhp. Fully lightened B700.
It's damned quick but TCS has to be on!

never new you could convert FW to RW ? and thnaks for the tips. I don't like the sterring wheels much so use the joypad

How do you convert from FWD to RWD? I've also seen people talk about 4WD for the 350Z but just assumed that was limited to that car. Is this a level thing (if so which one?) or am I missing something really, really obvious?! Cheers

Engine/powertrain swap. Available on some cars...
