Forza 2 LCE going back

I need to return my buggered disc - can I just replace it with the normal Forza and play my saved game or will it have to be LCE?

Will be fine with standard.

Both standard and limited editions have the same game disc.

Only difference is the box, the contents of the box and a code for some downloadable cars.

The disc has LCE written on it, I thought it would be fine - just wanted to check!

If you are returning it to somewhere like Game due to the disc failing then surey they have to replace with like for like. If you are having to buy a replacment (although a failed disc with no visible marsk should be just swapped as faulty, its not that old?) then you can just get the normal version and your download cars will still work.

I had my 360 play up quite a few times on Forza (stopping mid race etc) so I took the console and the game back. They gave me a brand new console and a brand new LCE edition of the game to replace the one I returned.
Quite handy as I already had the download cars on my hard drive (which I obviously kept) so gave the new download code to a mate who also plays.

I can't find the invoice, must have thrown it away, so Game stores won't take it back - after saying on phone they would - wrs.

Game online seem willing to take it back, so need to send it off - not sure if I get swap or refund however.
