Is this a mock up or how many will be on track at a time?

Think its been confirmed its 16 offline and 12 online.

Has anybody else heard about th GT TV feature? sounds ambitious but it looks like GT is going to have its own kind of motorsport channel.

Probably the same as Forza and Gotham tv.

Not sure as ive not seen them but dont they use content from the game? if so then I think GT is different as it seems to have a channel in the game to watch motorsport from around the world (D1 grand prix was used as an example)

I read it here if you fancy a look. LINK

The tv channel in forza2 allows you to view games in progress anywhere in the world in real time. It also has an area where you can watch saved replays of past tornies etc...

So the Sony thing sounds very similar to me.

Ah, not like Forza/PGR TV at all. It sounds complicated, will they have different output for different countries?

Im not sure, reading into it seems as though they want it to be a global thing for the more less main stream motorsports.

That looks like the current version of GT5:P, probably from TGS, there's loads of videos floating around of people playing it.

I'm not even sure on-line games are still limited to 12 players, think they might be 16 now.

Only 5 different car models though, so just more of the same as GT4?

Any pics with 16 unique cars?

I count 7 different ones in the above!

Mustang,
Skyline,
Clio,
NSX,
TT,
Alfa,
Z4.

But I know what you mean, I think most pics have a limited number of different cars on track... Oh well, at least there are 16 cars now and not just 6 smile

Ah yes, sorry, didn't spot the Z4 roof there biggrin

Meant 6, but missed the Z4, so yes 7...

It is better, just a shame. What bugs me quite alot is the lack of a custom grid in arcade racing or non-series events. Ie, race against cars you want to, rather than just stupid ones that the AI pics...
Ie, having all TVR races or whatever, even if it's unbalanced...

That will be a nice feature, ergo GT5 won't have it hehe

You could always set up one car races if you are so inclined online, just tell a bunch of friends they are only allowed Tuscans or whatever and off you go! If they were being sensible, they would make it so the host could put quite a tight entry requirement filter on a race...

yes me too. Fortunately the missus offered to get me one for my birthday (12th nov) if I let her have the nectar points I had saved up for sainsbury's! This fits in quite nicely with when prologue should be out-ish.

Really looking forward to the online aspect driving

I think so, the bonnet slopes away where it meets the window like in the other Mustangs anyway...
