Can you take off the modifications you put on the cars, if so where as I've looked but not joy?

Before you start a race, select the setup option from the menu along the bottom of the screen - you know, the place you go to alter gearing, suspension etc.

When you select something you have modified (turbo for example) a supplimentary list will pop up allowing you to return the car to standard. For the turbocharger it will list Standard, Stage 1, Stage 2 etc and you just select what setting you want (assuming you have bought it of course)

Thanks, I've tuned up most of my cars apart from the shite award ones so it doesn't let me enter some races from the set up screen. I take it that I'd better start a race that I can enter to de-restrict it then go to a race yet to be won.

Ah, see what you mean. You buy a car with 200bhp, knock it up to 350 and then can't enter a race with a 300bhp limit. Not sure if there is a way to access the parts screen when you are sat in the garage? Failing that just enter one of the freebie races or the standing quarter test to make the changes quicker.

Press Start in the first garage screen. You get sent to the Set up screen for the car you are in.

You can change the wheels on GT4 in the workshop where you get an oil change & that.

Only if they come up on the "used wheels" rotation list. There's a guide somewhere that shows you what come up for sale, they're repeated every 34 days or so.

There are also some modifications you can't remove as far as I can tell, like port polishing and balancing.

Is this the wheel shop? because all it seem you can do is buy diffrnet wheels everytime i buy wheels i loose the standard ones. In GT3 you can swap them back again.

I think so, it's a shame you can't chop and change the original/modified parts easier or enter a race without having to go back to the garage to find the correct car as required.
