I was under the impression that Halo3 would be released for vista. Is it not now?

So it appears at the moment, nope not coming out.

From the rest of my searches others are stating that if it appears would be a few years.

To be honest, I would be sad (but not surprised) if MS are not in favour of this (I'm still hoping I'm wrong). They need a great title to help sell the Xbox, so are not real motivated to release it on other platforms.

Personally, I think the game looks fantastic and I'd have a lot of fun playing it. Not enough to warrant buying a new platform just for that. However, If it was available for the PC - I'd buy it yesterday.

When they do release its supposed to let you play cross consoles - so you could log into live on windows vista and play against xbox 360 live users too - that would be lots of fun
