rFactor - 1955 F1 mod
Discussion
Team Players Virtual Garage has just unveiled the first car of their 1955 F1 mod, looks to be a meticulously detailed Mercedes Benz W196, complete with well researched physics and performance. They've altered the leaning head code to make the driver lean into corners, and used the gear display font graphics to display a moving gearstick.
Just downloading now - looking to be a new possible favourite in the making, alongside GP79!

It's very good, very slidey and a great touch to have the gear lever move just like in GPL.

Hehe, oops - I always forget something!
These cars are great - a proper challenge to figure out how to drive them... Slow in, on the throttle gently and early to "steer" them around the corner seems the best way. Go in too fast, and they understeer like mad - which seems true to life. The suspension/tyre/general physics modelling looks meticulously detailed after a read of the technical notes they included with the car.

Well you might temporarily combine them with the 1950's Indycars that have just been done as well
