XBOX 360 connecting to Broadband

can i connect an ethernet cable to connect it to the t'internet

or do i have to buy a wireless adaptor?

Plugged mine in via cable to my router.I'm no expert either and it worked fine

If you have ports on your router (and uless you've done something unusual) just plug a network cable between the two and your all go.

I always use a cable, much quicker.

just to clear it up for the OP the xbox should come with approx 5m ethernet cable and this is the most stable way to connect it to your internets.

I have plugged mine into the back of my pc as my cable router would not share my connection with 2 devices.
