The glut is only just starting my Friend..

Looked at the list of games that will be arriving through my letterbox in the next few weeks and nearly weeped for my sanity.

Zelda DS
Guitar Hero 3
COD4
Assassin's Creed
Mass Effect
Mario Galaxy

Then there's Kane and Lynch, Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted: Drakes Fortune which will have to wait for a kindly relative to provide me for Christmas as I don't think my bank account will take much more punishment.

Just ordered a region free copy of this game from Renchi.com for £27 quid. Thanks very much for the tip Steve.

I saw that Play-Asia were back ordered, so thought I may as well get a copy from renchi. Opted out of the faster airmail as it makes the price almost the same as a copy here.

Rock Band must be coming out soon too.

You're right, in America at least, but isn't due out until sometime early next year here, so I will have a chance to allow my bank account to replenish a little.

Dag nammit, I hate being skint, so many good games all coming along at once and I'm all out of games I want to trade in frown

I wish I wasn't saving up for a car right now! Well maybe if I had a job and wasn't relying on not spending my student loan it would be ok, but... Well, maybe my personal injury claim will pay out £50 more than I'm expecting, who knows?

Had a go of this.Probably the best FPS i have ever played (played em all i think too)
Looks superb, runs super smooth, gameplay is full on!

I actually came away from the game needing a rest (hard setting) as my brain was
having trouble keeping up biggrin
Get stuck in a firefight and you need to watch out for flying bullets all over the place,
the enemy on roof tops, enemy hiding round corners, grenades being lobbed at you that you
can throw back if you have time, exploding burning vehicles, moments of blindness and deafness
if the nades were too close..

I thought R6 Vegas was superb and had some manic moments, this makes it look like a walk
in the park. It's also not manic in an annoying way, you know, you stick your eyelash round a corner
and you get shot! No, this just leaves you wondering what the #### to do to stay alive!

Only thing i could say was a bit annoying was that the areas at least in the first few levels are a bit
fenced in.They are not mega small, but you can't go wandering too far.

Oh, and it also has a superb opening mission to get you in the mood followed by another mood enhancing
cut scene type of thing.

Superb game.

I've got the PC version preordered for friday. I'm rather looking forward to it. The original was the best FPS I'd bar HL2.

I've had this on pre-order for a few weeks now. However, I have not had the `your order has been shipped' email, which makes me wonder whether it'll arrive on release day.......

Sorry if this is a really dumb question, but will COD4 from Renchi or Play Asia be in English, as in menu's etc.?
