Assassin's Creed
Discussion
I bought it a couple of days back on the 360, not had too much time to get stuck in to it but impressions so far are good. The game its self is stunning, very nice indeed. Game play is fun if not a bit repetitive after a good hours play, the conflict part of gameplay is good fun too with a nice realistic peice of sword swinging and dance-like counter attacks from your medieval character.
All in all a good game, visually stunning and entertaining, not brilliant though, would have liked it a bit more varied, would have liked more weapons, and it also lacks LIVE. Certainly worth a punt if you are into this kind of thing!

Prob a bit late, but have a read here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
I've been playing it loads this weekend.
Looks awesome, and the sheer scale if it is epic. Very repetitive though... just performed my fifth kill. I tend ot go in all swords swinging and hack em all out.
One question; there's an achievement available to "having a fully synchronised DNA bar" but I'm not sure how to get it. Is it that I have to view all the view points, save all the citizens and gather all of the evidence? I'm no points whore, but it'd be a shame to not get it for something silly.
Thanks
Tuan

Basically means get the full health bar, everytime you climb a viewpoint or save one of the citizens from the guards you get a notch on a scale of 15, get 15 and the health bar increases. It will also increase after every assassination. There's also a similar one where you have to perform every kill with a full DNA bar, which does mean you have to do every investigation, climb all viewpoints and save all the citizens before going for each kill.

I can see me getting everything apart from all the flag and Templar side quests, Templars seem do-able but the only flag one i've even nearly done is the Masyaf one and I'm one flag short of the 20, no idea where the hell the last one is though, I've been through the entire town 3 times now.

I'm not going to break my back on it. The missions, all of the view points and saves'll do me. I'm never going to find all of the flags or kill the Templars. Too repetitive to search every nook and crannie.I can start COD4 after that. Then lose myself in Mass Effect.
