It was up briefly, until it came to light that the version uploaded onto Live caused you to be immediately disconnected as soon as you tried to start a game. Doh!

Statement from MS reads -

It has come to our attention that an incorrect version of Sensible World of Soccer was made available on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft® which has since been taken down. This version incorrectly disconnected users that attempted to connect to Xbox LIVE.

We are currently investigating the issue and will have a correctly functioning version of Sensible World of Soccer available soon.

Any users that have already downloaded Sensible World of Soccer will need to delete their copy of the game and download it again when the correctly functioning version is available in order to enjoy online play via Xbox LIVE. Following this process does not incur any additional charges.

Please look out for the fully functional version of Sensible World of Soccer soon. We thank you for your patience.

I don't even like football but i've been really looking forward to playing this since i heard it was due for the XBLA. Announcement, followed by announcement, followed by a very short taster video and now this. Pretty awful!

Has anyone seen the Sensible soccer Tv Plug in game thats been available for about a year? I saw one for £10 while christmas shopping and thought it was worth a try for that. Even though it's the Megadrive version it plays pretty much the same. Plus you get Cannon Fodder and Megalomania in the same box. Definately recomended , especially if you can find it for £10. (I think it's about £25-30 usually.)

In the Mega Drive version the ball stuck to the players feet. That's just not right, half of the fun in Sensi was trying to keep hold of the ball!

I can't answer that question, but I have a brand new, never unboxed, plug into your telly sensible soccer sat in front of me. If anyone wants it for a tenner, they are welcome.
