XBox 360?

Hello all.

Not much of a gamer, but I saw an ad for Call of Duty 4 in the cinema last night and it looked awesome!

Now, the folks have been asking me what I want for christmas and I reckon I should get one of these to fiddle with.

Any recommendations for good games? Is that Forza game on the 360? Or should I get a PS3?

Yeah Forza 2 is great on Xbox Live and just on your own. Admittedly I suck at it though :/

Mind you,singstar looks good on PS3 but that might not be a priority for u lol

Just bought one for Forza mainly.

Its waaaay better than my old PS2 and GT4.

Driving.. PGR3/4 & Forza 2 are cracking
Shooting - spoiled for choice, CoD 2 & 4, Bioshock, Gears of War, HL2 Orange box etc.

360 is a neat little device, and I use mine a ton for media streaming which I didnt expect to, primary music source in the living room now.

How much you looking at for a package these days then?

Just rung my mate. He reckons the latest halo is good and we can play online together. Like the sound of that, we used to play Halo 2 in co-operative mode. That was cool over a few beers

Dont worry about the RROD, new ones are sorted.

Play have the Premium console + Forza 2 + Halo 3 + Viva Pinata + an extra controller for 250.

(n.b. theres a 'new' 360, codenamed falcon, with 65nm chips and runs cooler & quiter, difficult to identify apart from thw 175w PSU - no idea what Play ship).

i always thought gt was a lil bit hyped i never really got into it i was massively dissapointed havent played forza yet though...
