Box of Forza 2 there is an Aston V8 Vanatge, but not in game

On the cover of the Forza 2 box art for the UK, it shows an Aston V8 Vantage, but in the game only the DB9 and 2001 Vanquish (not the S)are included. There really is no excuse for them to omit the V8 Vantage, seeing that all specs etc were out for the car long before the game was, actually the car was already out at least 6 months when the game came out this summer. Why put it on the box, but not in game? Is it a downloadable option?

Looks like a db9 to me mate also i know you can get some with a 350z on the front aswell ?

It looks like a DB9 to me too. V8 Vantage is shorter and more muscular looking....

looks a bit of a mix to me

the headlights scream vantage,

the grill and tail are subtley more like a db9 in my eyes

But it has the light under the boot lid that the V8 has, teh DB9 does not have this...

Sorry, but it is very clearly a DB9.


The headlight is the wrong shape, the rear overhang is too long, the front wing grille is the wrong shape (there is a difference), What you can see of the lower front grille is wrong, DB9 wing mirrors, front bumper line is wrong, and overall the car is much more 'streched'. I've never doubted it was a DB9 and I'm sure I've read on one of the Forza Forums one of the turn10 staff confirming as much.

Very, very clearly a DB9 (not even a DB9R, just a painted be-winged DB9)

IMHO it looks like AMV8 lights on a DB9

look at the high level brake light, and the crease in the flanks...

From looking at those pictures it certainly appears to be a hybrid - DB9 proportions with V8 Vantage detailing. From this shouldn't we then expect that both cars feature in the game?!
