OK. I'm considering getting a Gold account and trying some oneline gaming. It's something I've never really fancied before.

Thing is I KNOW i'm going to feel a bit of a tit talking. Does everyone else use their mike ?

I should have no problem realy, I'm used to using the RT when flying and the CB when I was a kid .....

Just start shouting at people and what not, eventualy you'll get used to the idea of talking. I was the same when started n soon found people who i liked to both talk to and play games with. Also kicks ass taking the piss out of the french and those jackass americans who think managing to kill you or beat you in one race is the equivalent of winning a nobel prize.

XBL has widened my social experience. I had never been called a faggot without irony before, and now I have. A lot. Additionally, I now know that I "sound like harry *ucking potter".

American teenagers are never tiresome. Ever.

I havent been on live other than to play in games with friends/contacts.

On the old Xbox I was on it regular but the 6 year old Americans claiming they are going to rape me got on my tits. Is it possible to now block users based on geographical location?

rofl quality.

Play a lot of WoW and the in-game voice chat makes a big difference to quality of game play but is a complete downer when you realise that a guild-mate that you've been gaming with for the last 6 months (and who has a full library of red dwarf and monty python references) is actually 13 years old...
