By the way it's not in the world, there are different account regions, US, Europe, Japan etc. and the scores are only specific to each account region. The scores get reset every 7 days as well so the position you get is relative to when you play (the earlier in the week you play, the higher place). I've had a load of 1st places on the drifting but because of the way ranking works it's nothing to shout about to be honest.

Try setting up a Japanese account and downloading GT Prologue, you actually get to play online. Kicking other players butts online is far more entertaining

Why would they reset the rankings every 7 days - thats sh1t !

The whole point of the rankings i thought was if you pull a blinder out of the bag and get yourself into top spot for time attack - you want it to be up there until someone comes along and beats it. At least you can say you the held top spot for 3 months until some jammy bast@rd from norway came along and made you look like an amateur
