Photoshop CS help needed

Here's one for all you PS experts. I have just bought PS CS. I don't seem to be able to open raw files from my 1DII (CR2 format) anybody know if they are compatible or do I need to process in the Canon software first ?

I'd guess you need to visit the Adobe website and download the right update. 'Canon RAW' or similar, or it might even mention the camera model.

You need version 2.4 of Adobe Camera Raw from the Adobe Website...
