Cotswold Cameras
Discussion
I had an email exchange with them recently as I replaced all my gear at Xmas.
Seemed like a pleasant chap but it’s a defo a one (or two..) man band. I checked out their accounts at companies house….
Seemed like he would come through though and was pleasant so comms were good, but in the end opted to buy elsewhere as was spending strong money. The Cotswold chap did tell me the outfit (he said) he used for any warranty repairs and I checked them out… they existed and looked a professional outfit, albeit not the manufacturers own folk.
Would suggest if thinking of using them get in contact. He was responsive, and then make your mind up accordingly…

Is this the guy with the address in Cirencester? Tried buying stuff in the past but would only deal remotely, not drop in to collect.
They (he?) uses a City Road, London address now, but it looks to be a 'London registered address' - one you can pay for annually as a service = thats as far as my due diligence went ...Thanks all, I guess he's not untrustworthy, just grey imports could be a problem.
I emailed him about a camera, came back quickly saying can get it no problem but comes from overseas, I read somewhere it's Hong Kong, also he mentioned the repair place he uses in Scotland to honour the 3 year warranty.
Bit the bullet and ordered it, ensuring I used my credit card rather than just take cash from my current account, I'll see what happens now.

I'm looking to buy a Sony A9 II body, and Cotswold have access to stock.
