It'd be an expensive job trying to get the tables level too...
You might just have to accept that, without a Wonk Reduction lens, you'll have to compromise...
...or do some fiddly-fiddly in Photoshop.
Or just face up to these people and explain you can't do anything if they won't stand up STRAIGHT
Nice moody shots btw - exactly the feeling to aim for, IMHO.

I like the ambient lighting and BW treatment, though I could do without some of the drunken angles and only a few of the shots work for me as standalone photos, eg:
- though the focus should really be on the eyes not the hand IMO. A lot of the rest just look lke shots of people playing pool and the b/gs are distracting. If you take a bit more care over composition, focus point and timing next time, you should get some really good ones.

I like these Nick, I always look at your
threads with interest as you seem to
have a real eye for unusual composition.
In my opinion, the angles here are what make these work,
it makes them a bit more edgy, which i'm guessing is what you were
going for.
I'm a huge fan of shooting in low light without flash, it's
a real challenge which makes it so much more rewarding
when you get a good one.

For next time I would take a faster lens, I only had my 28-300 zoom with me and it doesn't stop down more than f4.
I sensed you were struggling for shutter speed. A 50mm f1.8 is a cheap way to get more light in (£70-80), and it doesn't take up much room in the bag. A bit long for some work but if you go wider the price goes up dramatically.
