Did anything ever come of this?

I'm sure we can all come up with some suitable pics if this is a goer...

Just don't ask DustyC to do the selection!

Ive got 36 shots of the hawaiian tropic girls at Le Mans. Can we have 3 pics per month?

You'll still need some help deciding which order to put them in... if you'd care to post them, we'll try to help

Unfortunately they are all taken through the debris fence. I was so gald I had bought my 300mm lense prior to LM though. Its the best view I have seen of the HT girls yet.

There were a few pics where a particular rear end filled the frame.
"I dont know how that happened, my hand must of slipped on the zoom" was my excuse to Ali

At PF, PR Photography were taking cars away to do photos - I seem to remember that was for the official PF Calendar. A Viper, DB9 and a few others were chosen.

i would have thought an official PH calendar would feature some of the more popular PHers cars.

I would suggest
3 Tivs
3 Porkers
Elise
Espirit
Caterham 7
Scamera van
Italian contingent for the rest perhaps?

Edited: I reckon us lot would make a better one ourselves. It would probably be even better if it had some of the PHers in it.
Its the people that make PH great.

To be honest when I was looking at the cars that appeared to be selected it looked like it was going to be any other calendar with little PH influence just a group of cars a PH'er happens to own. I may be wrong however.

I personally thought a great calendar would feature something like more PH'er element (for instance my Marlin, Pwig's Rover, Matt T16's Saab, Slinksports's Sciento together (the underdog/youngster element), a collection of Porkers...) and us by the cars laughing. I'm not photogenic but it doesn't really matter in terms of a PH calendar.

Then again some of the photos Luca has taken this weekend capture the event nicely and could make a beaut of a calendar!

One fears a PH calendar isn't just aimed at PH'ers tho...

I reckon the calendar should be of the bigger PH events.

BTaP, PF and then some of the regional meets.

That should cause a few upsets and arguements

I was thinking along the lines of photos of nice cars taken by PHers.

Maybe anyone who is interested in contributing should get a selection of pictures sorted, and then it gets put to the vote as to which pictures are chosen.

Of course, we'd need to find someone to do the editing and sort the printing - wasn't it TT Tim who said he may be able to help with this?

I'll submit a couple of motorsports ones that I like.
They aren't up to the best standards, but I like them as they were bloody hard to get.
Can anyone host them for me? If so, what are the spec limitations?

What do they say about you can't please all the people all the time...

PHer's cars were photographed at PistonFest for a PH calendar. Of those cars offered I selected as wide a range of cars as possible to represent the diversity of PH.

Please don't write it off before it's even come together.

Dont want to write off your idea Ted but there is a good community of ShutterHeads in here and I think its worth while us getting a selection of our shots togther as a calendar, even if we dont print it.

In fact, even if we only get enough copies printed for ourselves it would be good! Would like to have a calendar where I knew all the photographers and had one of my own in it.

Anyone be interested in this or will I be left to stare at Hawaiian Tropic girls through chicken mesh for the next 12 months?
(I wont be submitting any of those pics though!).

Sorry - wasn't aware there was an official calendar in the pipeline. I'd not seen anything on here for a while, so thought the idea had died!

Whilst we would all love to have our pix selected, IMO Ted should be Editor and have the final say for reasons of style and continuity - oh, and the fact that he'll be paying for it!
