I "borrowed" a D70 at the weekend, and took some superb pics of my dad holding my son..... I can do fairly decent colour prints onto photo paper at work, but I want to get some *really* good prints done, so I can frame them and give them to my dad as a suprise..... any recommendations of online companies that do this?

I know Fotango do this sort of thing. Their pic host is pretty poor but I have had some small prints done and they seem OK.

Meeja, stick them on CD and take them to Jacobs in town. I had all my honeymoon pics printed out there and they look good.

Really?

Mrs M had some of my 35mm films processed there and they were shocking!..... might give them one more chance though for the digital pics......

No problem.... it's a good call to try them.... at least if they do muck up, I just won't pay, and I can take my JPG somewhere else!

Mrs TDI has been using Bonusprint lately - really good quality and the turnaround is about 2 days.

I stick em on a CD & take to Costco. By the time we've done the rounds they're ready to collect & it's cheap & quality fine. Obviously the hundreads of pounds we naturally spend on wine / rugs / tellies / jeans / god knows but ooh it's a special offer etc etc bumps the price up a bit!!

Again - I stick them onto a CD and take them to Sainsburys - sometimes you can get 50 printed for a fiver.

If you want high quality then any of the local professional photographic suppliers should be able to sort you out. I use Redwood in Colchester for proper stuff for work.

Upload to photobox.co.uk. I was recommended them by someone on here I think and really cant complain in the slightest. Excellent fast service (next day usually) and the print quality is awesome and cheap as well.

We use Bonus Print too, never had any problems and pictures are always good quality even with my 2.1Megapixel camera!
