Hello, I'm asking a favour from anyone who is good with Photoshop/picture software.

Basically my knowledge of picture editing is none existent. I've got a picture that I need tidying up so that I can have it framed for a present. It's a bit pixelated and of general poor quality.

If anyone is willing to lend a hand, I don't have anything to offer, however it means a lot and I would be forever grateful.

Please please if you can help make yourself known through comment or message and I'll send it across.

Thanks!

Stick it up here and we'll tell you if it's saveable or a basket case. But as far as I know the only way to cover pixellation is to add blur.

If that's it you can certainly bring up the midtones/shadows and it will take a little bit of sharpening without looking fake.

I've only got an ipad, and not really sure how I can make it bigger I'm sorry but it is full screen on the ipad in same quality as above. I can email it if that will help?
Thanks

Its a really low-res image to start with, ideally if you can get a higher quality version it gives more info to play with.

This is the best PS blur removal can do in my hands

He means the JPG file. The image you posted is 720 x 450 pixels; the question is whether that's the actual size of the image or whether it's got reduced somewhere and there's a bigger version lurking. Where is the original image? - it looks like a video screen grab.

That's the exact problem, it is a creep grab! frown I've had a go with a free app just to try and make it more appealing to the eye.. I'm not great at this am I...

Here's a quick go in Topaz Adjust - obviously, as a screen grab of a screen grab it's limited! But seemed to get rid of some of the halo effect and lighten it a bit. The colours are tricky without doing selective changes what with the over-red skin tones and very green overall colour, but I tried to make the skin a bit more natural without losing too much of the yellow or warmth?
