I was trying out a monopod at an event and upon taking the camera back off, it ripped into the rubber on the bottom.

I wouldn't normally care but the camera is two weeks old and I have massive OCD about stuff like this..

So does anyone know if this can be replaced and if so, what's the piece called?

Possibly. I haven't looked into it too much yet, as it only happened today.

Buy a grip , it's more manly

Seriously , that's what it's there for, replace it if you never intend to connect it to a tripod or monopod again but if you do you'll do it again

Nah, I tested a cheap one for 30 seconds, it ripped into it. My one is much better quality and I've never had the problem before.

Can I buy one of these parts and simply take the specific cover I need off and replace?
