A family member has asked me to look into the value of a set of vintage PAL binoculars that they have.

I've searched online, eBay/googled the company, and I'm struggling to find anything on this brand apart from vintage opera binoculars, and I'm not sure if it's the same "PAL" brand.

They seem very well made, in original box, model DE LUXE JS 26

anyone know of this brand and where best to ask about this kind of stuff?

I can find lots of PAL-F opera glasses. But you say these are proper binoculars not opera glasses?

Hi, yes proper binoculars, pic below.

They are really solid, very well made, I'm quite impressed with them to be honest. You would never get something modern of this quality without spending big bucks I'm sure.

Best guess: £10-£25 - if they are in perfect condition.

It's effectively an unknown brand so eBay starting at £9.99 or save the aggro and donate to charity shop or I'd say.

Ok thanks guys. I didn't think it would be worth much.

Now I'm just interested to find out more about this brand and how old they are, I'll see if I can find a vintage binocular dealer or specialist.

Cheers
