Rendering an HD video for YouTube

I'm putting together a video for YouTube, it's a screen recording of a Sketchup tutorial I'm making, and the Sony Vegas editing software offers me a wide range of output formats.

Any suggestions as to a good one to use?

Take a look at the info posted on YouTube for what are the best video and audio formatting specifications.

From any YouTube page scroll to the bottom of the page and select the help button, then type in 'video format' in the box.

Are you using a PC or Mac for the video editing?
