what a camera for doing car related videos voting etc

Not looking at spending huge amounts as I already have a gopro 2 motorsports edition but want some thing that can be used for doing interior shots of cars, fly bys etc

Recommendations?

Gopro Hero is around £100 if you want to carry on with gopro, it's about as basic as you'll get though.

the SJcam's get good reviews and are much cheaper than their mainstream counterparts and use the same mounting system as the GoPro Linky

People like the Mobius cameras aswell if you're after something different.

Only problem now Is deciding! I think the important thing is that it has a display so I can watch what I'm recording and also mic option as my gopro 2 will probably be used for action shots and this as a "TV style recording camera" (basically of myself and the cars)

You'll be hard pressed to beat a go pro 3 with USB mic adaptor for ease of use. You can frame it with the app.

Once you start moving into proper cameras for in car video, mounting them gets a real pain. Then you're into SLRs and you have to worry about hitting focus etc. Before you know it you're looking at EPIC Reds.

Go Pro is simple and easy to mount, with the added bonus of you can build on them, add more, share batteries, easy to edit together etc.

True but I already have a 2 and want to avoid the fish eye effect when filming cars and people.

At the minute Argos are selling the mini camcorder the sony HDR cx240 for a decent price which is full HD and seems decent quality on youtube (which actually makes the quality worse)
